The Peppermint Clove is, by far, one of the strongest 'natural' scents I've ever experienced, and for that reason I find it beyond words. I expected a peppermint balm with a hint of clove, or an overall light scented basic balm with after notes of the two headlining scents.

Boy, was I wrong. This scent has a presence. It lets you know from the moment you open it that it means business, and you'll love it for that. You'll have an air of importance surrounding you as people you encounter experience this scent combination. The balm goes on smooth and does a great job of reducing any shave irritation. Also, a little goes a long way, unlike some of the more expensive products from competitors.

The peppermint does seem to get a bit lost in the wave of clove, but it's there, dancing among your nasal receptors like a blue flame in a campfire.

Due to the two scents being more associated with Fall and Winter, I'll reserve this balm and its paired soap for use during those months, but very much look forward to when they'll come out of the cabinet.
