You've heard folks confess of being so consumed by a fragrance that they sneak 'nips' of it throughout the day? That made be laugh with disbelief until I first experienced Wm Neumann's formulation of 'Bay Rum' Something about that peppery note has me hooked! HEEELLP!!!

Love the zing it gives me after my shave. The scent is wonderful. It lasts but is not overpowering.

I've been through several different versions of Bay Rum aftershave and this is by far my favorite. I intend to order more. The scent is herbal and calming, not overpowering or medicinal as some Bay Rums tend to be. The sting is good, does not last too long, and does not dry out the skin. I also got the 'sample pack' of aftershaves and there are some other interesting scents. They are not all my type, but I did really like the peppermint clove.

I have to admit that I was skeptical buying a $32 bottle of aftershave, but after using this for about a month I won’t use anything else. For years I have had dry, red, sometimes flakey patches of skin on my chin and on the corner of my nose. The dermatologist said it was Seborrheic dermatitis and after using this aftershave it’s gone. I never intended to find a remedy for my skin condition I just wanted a good aftershave because I recently got into shaving with a double edged safety razor. As far as the Bay Rum scent goes I think it’s great too. My sense of smell is not the most acute, so I like colognes that are more on the stronger side. This Bay Rum has an intense smell of cloves that lasts a while. If you want to know what the ladies will think of it I can only give the opinion of my wife; she thinks the Bay Rum is ok but likes the 1907 better. I eventually bought both, Bay Rum of work and 1907 for her.
