I am normally not one to leave a review, but this is a great product. Just a few drops provided a great foundation for a terrific shave. Shipping was same day of order. Can't say enough good things.

You only need a small amount of this pre-shave oil to cover your entire face and neck. At first I was worried I would have to use more to get good coverage because the consistency is slightly thinner than some other pre-shave oils I have used. But, it spread out nicely nonetheless. The thinner consistency actually prevents the oil from clogging the blades on my razor like some of the other oils that are thicker or gooier. I don’t know if anyone else has had this problem but with thicker oils the oil mixes with hair stubble and clogs the blades and is nearly impossible to clean. This is not a problem with the Neumann oil.

Pros: Slightly thinner consistency prevents clogging of blades, you only need a small amount to cover the entire beard area, combined with their shave soap and balm my face has never been smoother.

If WM. Neumann made a Bay Rum bar soap this would be the only place I shop for toiletries.

I wasn't sure if I needed a pre shave oil or not. So I did an experiment and shaved 5 days without and 5 days with the oil. Everything else was the same. For me using the oil made a much smoother, cleaner shave. Also I enjoy being able to have all the products with the same scent.
