Start with the packaging, it is very well done and the pump provides the perfect amount for each shave. The 1911 scent is manly and reminds me of the old fashioned barber shop, so we'll done!

These are great products that I intend to keep buying and recommend to others.

I have used a number of different premium creams and soaps, but this stuff is simply amazing! The lather whips up easily, in great volume, and it lasts for a long time. In addition, it lubricates well, especially in conjunction with the shave oil. This is by far the best shave cream I have ever used.

Having previously purchased the Bay Rum line from WM Neumann, I purchased the 1911 line. I was not disappointed. The scent is great and the performance is outstanding. You won't go wrong with this.

Was a bit skeptical with this being in a pump bottle, I've been using captains choice bay rum(a solid shave cream) but it gunks up my razor something awful. This stuff first off smells great I pair with 1911 pre shave. I did two smal pumps onto my badger brush and swished it around in a shaving cup for no more then 8 secs and have SO much, more then I needed for 4 passes. A little bit goes a LONG ways and it lathers up enough just on your face w/o the bowl. Awesome product. Csnt explain how much I love their stuff. Also the two orders I've got from them included a nice little gift of no charge. You guys seriously rock.

As a newbie to DE shaving, I wasn't sure how thick and foamy a traditional shaving cream should be when correctly lathered (as opposed to a can shaving cream). The folks at Wm. Neumann & Co. were very helpful in explaining what to expect, how much to use and the best method for whipping up a satisfying lather. This cream is thick and lubricates well (I also couple it with the Shaving Oil), providing a satisfying few imaginary moments back in 1911 while shaving. The scent is really outstanding (as are all of the Neumann product line).
