I had ran out of my normal Bay Rum aftershave from C.O. Bigelow and was looking for something else to try. i purchased the shaving cream and aftershave balm together and used them for the first time today. the cream is very nice. i used about a pump and it lathered up nicely with my best badger brush. the cream provided cushion and glide for my safety razor so i didnt have any nicks or irritation. the smell isnt quite the same as COB but i like it, not too overpowering but it stays around a while. i would buy this again.

Great stuff, great smell. I have entered this into the rotation and couldn't be happier with it. Loved the free samples, so did my wife, she has taken over my rotation, and demands that Old Fashioned Soda be next.

I have never been one for writing a review, but this is such a great product line and great company that I felt I needed to. The Bay Rum shaving cream provides a terrific lather and a satisfying shave. And the smell is out of this world.

I am relatively new to wet shaving. I have found getting good lather from shaving soap very frustrating. I have watched numerous videos and had a soap maker show me. Sadly mine almost always were too wet or too dry. It would take me so long my face would dry. So I switch to the shave cream. I love it! It's much easier to leather up. Now I'm getting used to knowing how much water to add to get the correct consistency. Plus the scent is marvelous and the lather makes a nice slick shave. I am really enjoying my shaves now.
