This is now easily my favorite shave cream. Produces a thick, rich lather with plenty of cushion. The scent truly smells like it sounds, a mix between root beer and something else I can't place. No trace of chemical fragrance. I can't stop smelling the bottle. (Please don't ever discontinue this!)

Everything you've heard and read about this product online and in product reviews is true. I just received my first re-order of this exceptional shaving cream. I've been wet shaving for years and have tried MANY brands of cream. This is the one I keep coming back to. The scent is refreshing, relaxing and invigorating. And the performance is outstanding! Thick, moisturizing, highly protective, slick and cushioning. You hardly feel the blade on your face. And after your shave your skin feels rich and moisturized. Plus dealing with the folks at Neumann is always a pleasure. As first rate as their products.

The scent is a delight. It gives you a warm feeling without overpowering.

Two pumps are all you need in your shave bowl for a large volume of lather.

I too found this reviewed on Shaprologist and decided to give it a try. The scent is fantastic, with root beer, cream soda and clove. However, like anything else, form should follow function, and this product delivers.

Just a single pump on a wet shaving brush developed into a rich creamy lather in about one minute. I made three passes and still had some left over at the end. The 8 oz. bottle will last a long time.

The cream was slick and gave a nice cushion, and I had no irritation whatsoever. In my opinion it's right up there with the 3-Ts and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

As long as Wm. Neumann makes this cream it will be in my regular rotation. Well done!

This cream is terrific. Just one or two pumps on my brush creates the best lather that I have found in my 30+ years of wet shaving. Just the right amount of cushion and slip to ensure a great shave. Plus, it leaves my skin feeling great after.

The Old Fashioned Soda scent is great and just gives me that good time feeling in the morning. There's just nothing else like it!

Please come out with the cream in your other scents. I'll be the first in line for the Heartwood!
